Make Waves - Thank you card

Happy Friday!  Where did this week go?  It is getting to be that busy time of the year again with Spring starting so much to do.  Today I have 2 cards to share with you that are identical except the sentiment stamped.  These cards are based on the Make It From Your Heart Vol 4, Pattern 10.  These really are a simple card to make, but by adding the Bashful Glitter Paper, to me it just really adds the right amount of sparkle.  First is the Thank You card.

And next I made another card identical but used the "hello sunshine" sentiment.

Make Waves - Magical layout

Hello!  Today I have a couple of Make Waves layouts to share with you.  These are basically the same layout just made a little differently.  The layout is based on the Make It From Your Heart Vol 3, Pattern 5.   The first layout is Magical with the adorable mermaid stamped and fussy cut and colored with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  I also stamped the bubbles from the Scrapbooking Stamp Set around on the background paper.  I have to admit, I'm a mom of boys, but this mermaid really is cute!

This next layout is basically the same layout, I just flipped some of the papers over and moved the photo mats on the right page and changed them to Lagoon cardstock to create a Mother's Day themed layout.

Chelsea Gardens - Thanks Friend card

Good Monday morning!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  As my last post stated, I attended the new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book New Product Launch event and had so much fun!  I can't wait to be able to order some of the new products to start creating with, but until then, I have a lot of artwork still to share with you from the current Seasonal Expressions Idea Book.  Below I have a fancy fold card I made using Chelsea Gardens papers to share.  I saw an image of this style of card online and just had to remake it, so after much trial and error I figured out the cuts and score lines.

Nevermind my finger in the pictures! ;o)

This photo shows the card open.

Chelsea Gardens - Hello & Hugs cards

Happy weekend!!  It is Saturday morning and I'm not going to lie to you, I scheduled this post for you.  Why??  Because I am attending a CTMH New Product Launch event today, Yay!!  As a consultant we have the opportunity to attend these types of fun events which includes seeing fellow consultants and getting to play with brand new never before seen products!!

Anyway, here are the 2 cards I am sharing with you today.  I was inspired by fellow consultant and team mate Dawn Montagano's card she shared on our team page.  The word Hello & Hugs were both cut out of the White Daisy cardstock using the Thin Cuts Block Alphabet, and then the cardstock piece bumped up using 3D Foam Tape.

Chelsea Gardens layout

Good morning!  I am sharing my "Our Time Together" layout I made using the Chelsea Gardens papers along with the Chelsea Gardens Scrapbooking & Cardmaking stamp sets.  This layout is based on the Make It From Your Heart Vol 1, Pattern 8.  The sketch calls for a 5"x7" vertical photo on the left page, but since I tend to take to take a lot of horizontal photos, I decided to put 2 - 4"x6" photo mats in place of the 5"x7".

Birthday Time artwork

Hello!  I have some artwork I created using this month's Stamp of the Month Birthday Time stamp set.  First I had a photo of one of my son's birthday parties in mind with the single page layout I created using Lemon cardstock for the base with Adventure Fundamentals papers.  I also used Pacifica cardstock and ink along with Cranberry ink.  I added in some Stargazer Dots and a small piece of Gimme Some Sugar Peacock-stitched Ribbon.

Here is a little tidbit I learned while creating and stamping with this fun stamp set.  Although there are not Thin Cuts with this stamp set, I found that the "BAM!" in the Super Boy set works great with the "YAY!".  And just to let you know the "WOW!" in the Super Girl set works with this also!  I have both sets and had to check it also, just didn't snap a photo of it.

Next I had a cutting guide where you use 2 pieces of cardstock and one piece of patterned paper to create 4 cards.  I used Ruby and Sapphire cardstock and the grey marble patterned paper piece from the Stargazer paper packet.  I also added in the Stargazer Dots, Red Shimmer Trim for these 2 cards.

The other 2 cards from the cutting guide I was using does not include the Birthday Time stamp set, but since I showed 2 of the cards, I wanted to share the other 2 with you also.  They are birthday cards at least 😉
This one above I used the Sweet Birthday stamp and Thin Cut set.

And on this one I used the Stargazer Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cut set.

Were you inspired by any of this artwork?  Specifically any of it that used Thin Cuts?  I only mention it because you can get these and any of the other Thin Cuts until March 31st for 25% off!!  Shop for Thin Cuts here and shop for the super cute Birthday Time Stamp of the Month stamp set here.

Until my next post...

Step Right Up artwork

Happy Monday!  I told you in yesterday's post I would share my artwork with you using the Step Right Up bundle so here it is!  First is a layout I made using a design from an upline Diana.  She shared this on our team page and I knew I had to recreate it.   First let me show you what is included in the Step Right Up bundle.  This bundle is $28.95 which has over a 27% savings from the retail price.
Bundle includes the following:
1 – My Acrylix® Showtime stamp set
2 – gold foil paper sheets
2 – White Daisy cardstock sheets
2 – Sapphire cardstock sheets
2 – Black cardstock sheets
2 – Saffron cardstock sheets
2 – Cranberry cardstock sheets
1 – gold pearls
1 – red shimmer trim
Retail value $39.79 - Step Right Up bundle price $28.95

This is my Showtime layout using the bundle.  On the back side of Sapphire cardstock, the lighter side, I created my own patterned paper using the diamonds stamp.

Here are a couple of close up photos to show you some detail on the layout.  Aren't the gold stars and the gold pearls included in the bundle just wonderful!

After creating this layout using Diana's cutting guide, I wanted to keep creating using the scraps I had left, so I took some inspiration from a fellow consultant and team mate Sara Batkin.  Here is the 2nd layout I created.  I only added in some White Daisy cardstock for stamping and the photo mats.  As you can see I used the full Cranberry and Black sheets I had left as my base pages.  I stamped the ice cream cone or is it cotton candy on the Sapphire pieces with White Daisy ink and then heat set it with embossing powder.   I also stamped the stars onto the Cranberry piece on the right page to create my own patterned paper.

And lastly, this one is completely copying off of the uber talented Sara Batkin.  She shared this card and I just LOVED it and had to create one too!  As I said above, is the stamp on this set of an ice cream cone or is it cotton candy?  I asked my hubby, he said it is ice cream because it has a cone, I think of it as cotton candy with the circus or a carnival.  Well apparently this was a similar discussion in Sara's home as well.  She came up with the idea of using the end of the ice cream or cotton candy as Popcorn!!  Genius!!

I hope you have enjoyed my artwork I've shared.  Do you want to create your own fun artwork?  Order your bundle here and I'll share something fun with you!

Until my next post...

Happy crafting!
